I recruit into: Broadcast Digital Media is areas such as IPTV, VOD, triple play, quadplay, iTV, mobile TV, internet video, webTV, on demand, digital TV, streaming, playout, platform development, digital asset management, studio, post production, colour correction, editing, NLE, digital intermediate, DI, VFX, compositing, animation, CGI, transcoding, broadcast, media, 3D, MCR, VT, NOC, playout, ingest, transmission, media asset management, MAM, automation, DAM, distribution, mobile, conditional access, CA, compression, MPEG, streaming, encoding, decoding, satellite, VSAT, cable, mobile, set top box, STB, transmitter etc and the skill sets that you would need to research, analyse, design, develop, test, market, brand, sell, manage and support such entities. Information Security is just that. The security of your information from systems administration through to digital forensics specialisms. Software Development is complete development lifecycle across development languages such as Microsoft, C#, .NET, Java, J2EE, J2ME, LAMP, Perl, Oracle, SQL, T-SQL, STB, DTV, EPG. Games, Action Script (AS2, AS3), Flex, Air, iPhone, design, usability, UI, IA, experience, Flash, QA, testing, technical support & operations. I believe face to face relationships are key from both a client and candidate perspective and Storm actively promotes this. I have also organised regular networking sessions and so am very active in both the markets and geographical locations that I serve. In addition to my recruitment on-demand service, incorporating retained search, contingent perm, contract/interim and managed service, I headhunt hard-to-find upper-quartile candidates who are not active in the job market.
